Kpop Girl Group ITZY, Graces EDSA Ahead of their Most Awaited Comeback—The Queens are Back!
On the 15th of October, in the early morning of Tuesday, Kpop Performance Queens—ITZY, graces the busy road of EDSA.
ITZY Manila, the local fanbase of ITZY in the Philippines, spearheaded a fan project in support of their most awaited comeback as a complete five-member group, following Lia’s return from her 10-month hiatus, with their album “GOLD.”

GOLD features 11 tracks with a double lead singles, starting off with “GOLD” and next with, “Imaginary Friend.” From these, compositions such as “Supernatural”, “Bad Girls R Us”, and “VAY (ft. Changbin of SKZ,” delight our ears as this sound once again showcases a never-before seen side of ITZY.
“FIVE”, which was teased by the group through their show ‘One Summer Day’, was an obvious fan favorite for all the right reasons. It was a fan song which was supposed to be released early this year for their 5th anniversary but was later on decided to be released during this comeback, to celebrate their completeness. Truly, four, a lucky clover, but nothing is better than five (lyrics from FIVE, by ITZY).
Onto the second half of the album, these are the final versions of the tracks from their latest EP ‘Born To Be.’ The five songs from this album — ‘“Mr. Vampire,” “Untouchable,” “Born To Be,” “Dynamite,” and “Escalator” were all re-recorded to include Lia’s voice.
This is why ITZY Manila, in celebration of the release of GOLD last October 15th of 2024, made sure to send a huge message of support regardless of being miles away, as this album not just marks the return of the group as a five-member group, but also unlocks a new chapter for ITZY, serving as a pivotal growth phase on their artistry journey.
